OLAY AquAction Long-lasting Hydration Gel looks like a cooling gel in the tub and it does feel very soothing when applied. It’s not just ideal for oily skins which can be intolerant of creamy moisturisers but my dry skin also benefits from the fluid consistency of this moisturiser as I can use it for a short facial massage.
Compared to other gel moisturisers such as the Hada Labo Perfect Gel, this doesn’t feel any less or more moisturizing. I do think they have the same effect as far as hydration level goes. The only difference is the price as this one retails at RM59.90/50g while the Hada Labo Perfect Gel is RM85.90/80g which makes the Hada Labo one cheaper per gram.
