On both my visits to Oakwood Hotel and Residence, I had a buffet lunch and dinner respectively at Treat Restaurant. Both were positive experiences even though the buffet spread doesn’t have as wide a variety as some other hotels. Personally, I prefer quality over quantity. There’s no point having 100 choices if the overall quality is average. It’s so much better to have a dozen or so dishes that are above average or really quite good as is the case at Oakwood.
The Nasi Briyani and Ayam Masak Kerutuk were my favourite. I had a few plates of this as the Nasi Briyani is so excellent when paired with the sauce from the chicken is cooked to perfection.
