In celebration of Mary Kay’s global 50th anniversary. Mary Kay Malaysia organised a special charity event in partnership with Pusat Kebajikan HOPE Kuala Lumpur. 43 single mother and their 83 children were treated to a beauty and pampering workshop for the mothers by the Mary Kay Independent Sales Force and then a sumptuous buffet luncheon for all at Double Tree, Hilton. The occasion was graced by the presence of Miss Malaysia Universe 2013, Carey Ng.
This year marks the 6th year of Mary Kay Malaysia’s partnership with HOPE Worldwide. Consumers can j9in Mary Kay in it global effort to change the lives of women and children around the world through the purchase of the limited-edition Beauty That Counts® Mary Kay® lip products.From May 16, 2013 through December 31, 2013, RM3.00 will be donated from each sale of these lip products to help raise funds for medication and refurbishment for Hope’s free clinic located at Sentul Kuala Lumpur for underprivileged patients.
The single mothers who were invited to this event have obviously gone through a lot of hardships and they deserved to be treated to a day out for some pampering. Mary Kay Malaysia went all out to show the mothers and their children a good time and I am sure it was a day they will remember for the rest of their lives.
