Normally I stay away from matte lipsticks as my lips are already too dry. Applying matte lip products dries my lips even more even though I could put in the time and effort to condition my lips before applying. However I couldn’t pass up MAC Tropic Tonic Lipstick because it’s a lovely coral/orangey shade.
It didn’t feel too dry and I really like the creamy texture with excellent colour pay-off. It is so pigmented and stays on for hours, fading only when I have eaten. This is a flattering shade for all skin tones, it’s not too bright. Luckily this is in MAC’s permanent range as I might just want a replacement after this is finished.
