I’m not one of those who will rush out to acquire a make-up product which bears the name of a celebrity. I’ve got to love the product for the shade and have use for it. Of course Rihanna has so many fans that will want to collect products that bear her name. The RiRi ♥ MAC Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush Duo sold out faster than the length of time it takes to watch one of the singer’s videos.
This Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush Duo has a warm bronze on the top portion which takes up more than half of the pan and a soft coral on the bottom portion. I would have preferred half and half as I don’t have much need of a bronzer whereas I will definitely use more of the coral but the coral portion is rather small and you’d need a mini powder brush to pick up just the coral.
The blush is soft and colour pay-off is very good as I only needed to swatch once before the colour showed up on my skin. I have to use this sparingly otherwise I end up looking too bronze even when the bronze is combined with the coral. I much prefer the coral on its own as it looks more flattering on my skin whereas the combined powders looks too brown.
