MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is a one-step powder and foundation that gives skin an ultra-matte finish with medium-to-full buildable coverage while controlling shine. My sample is NW10 which is actually too light for my skin tone so I use it over liquid foundation just to set it. NW10 is a very fair beige with neutral rosy undertones for fair skin.
It has a velvety smooth texture and you can either apply it with the included sponge or brush. If the sponge is used, you get more coverage and if a brush is used, then the coverage is lighter. Since I apply it over foundation as setting powder, I use a brush. I find it goes on more evenly when I use a brush. However if I take it out with me, then I will use the sponge to retouch.
