I don’t know about you but I love makeup trends that focus on the eyes as I am quite obsessed with beautiful pigmented eye shadows and eye liners even though I still have a lot to learn about applying either. Whenever I see women with nice eye makeup, I feel compelled to ask them what they are using.
Anyway, this is exactly what MAC’s 2nd Autumn/Winter 2014 trend Streamlined is all about – the focus is on the eyes and in particular the trend is in liners. Use MAC Paint Pots in mushroom and taupe shades or Blacktrack/Black Ivy Fluidline to create an impact.
Romero Jenning’s recommends using Paint Pots if you want eye shadows to remain creaseless and last 8 hours especially in our humid weather. On the model, Romero has used Matchmaster Foundation, Fluidline Gel Liner, Electric Eel eye shadow and Mineralize Mascara for thick and lush lashes.
If you want an easy way to apply liner, Romero suggests picking the liner up from the back of your hand rather than direct from the container. By the way, don’t you think the MAC nail lacquer on the model is quite gorgeous?
