LaRisata, meaning “the laughter” are two jovial trattorias tucked away in the suburban areas of Ampang & Damansara. LaRisata Ampang opened its doors in November 1996 followed by LaRisata Damansara 3 years later. From 2 small shop lots seating 60, LaRisata has grown to accommodate up to 260 diners in total.
For the past 2 decades, LaRisata is well known for a good variety of Italian dishes in a casual setting. With unassuming décor and concept inspired by the food, wine, culture and warmth of Italy, LaRisata has delighted many diners throughout the years. Their signature dishes range from traditional wood-fired oven thin & crispy pizzas to pastas and main dishes that exude the very essence of Italian dining – rustic, hearty and good. Their menu sees periodic changes but always remains true to Italian cuisine.
Last night, LaRisata Ampang celebrated their 20th Anniversary with a sumptuous buffet spread for guests and media. They are definitely one of the best restaurants in town as evidenced by their recent win in the Best Italian Category awarded by TimeOut KL Food Awards 2015.
In appreciation of the continuous support from the community, LaRisata will be raising funds throughout the year through its activities to support children’s organisations = SUKA Society or Persatuan Kebajikan Suara Kanak-kanak Malaysia (SUKA) and Shelter Home for Children. There will be a sting of monthly events and promotions all year long:-
