So I finished my 3rd bottle of Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover recently and I hadn’t got a replacement yet. I had to rummage through my sample stash and luckily, there was a sachet of Kiehl’s Supremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover.
The product description on the front of the sachet told me that this was a lotion and not a liquid. I am more used to and prefer liquid eye makeup removers as I dislike anything creamy on my eyelids as a makeup remover. I have only ever purchased liquid eye makeup removers.
However, desperate times calls for desperate measures and since I didn’t find any alternative eye makeup remover, I opened up the sachet. It wasn’t as thick or as creamy as I expected. It’s a rather light lotion which didn’t sting my eyes and best of all, it effectively and efficiently removed my eyeshadows and mascara. I pressed the cotton pad against my eyelids for a few seconds before wiping off the makeup. There was hardly any residue left with just one wipe.
If it wasn’t for the price – RM70 for 125ml – I would happily purchase this.
