This Mid-Autumn Festival, Sungei Wang Plaza invites shoppers to step into an enchanting world with its ‘Joyful Moonlight’ campaign, running for 25 consecutive days from now until 6th October 2025. The main concept of this year’s festive decoration is to bring the legend of Chang’e (Moon Goddess) to life, portrayed through her graceful descent from the moon to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with everyone.
Shoppers are welcomed into her celestial journey at the Centre Court, walking through soft clouds that blanket the ground, playful rabbits hopping by, and flowing ribbons from her robe. Overhead, a glowing moon surrounded by festive lanterns lights the way, while lotus flowers bloom below—awakening under the moonlight to illuminate the goddess on her descent. Along the way, shoppers can discover Instagram-worthy photo spots, including a grand Chinese pavilion at the Centre Court designed for festive moments, as well as a decorative scene where Chang’e is depicted composing elegant calligraphy, with a calligraphy table inviting shoppers to join. Adding a unique highlight to the celebration, a giant 60cm 3D mooncake mold is also on display, enriching the festive décor with a special touch.
