It Was An Inside Scoop Weekend

My friend who came from Penang to attend the MAC Sale on Saturday was talking about Inside Scoop and as we happened to be at The Gardens and KLCC on Saturday and Sunday, we treated ourselves to the ice cream for the first time. I must commend the staff for allowing us to taste as many flavours as we liked. It was hard to choose even at The Gardens outlet which has fewer flavours than the KLCC outlet.

Some time ago, I visited an ice cream parlour in Damansara Uptown and when asked whether we could sample a flavour, we were declined. One scoop isn’t cheap and surely it is reasonable to allow customers to sample first so that they know which flavour they want. The staff at Inside Scoop The Gardens and KLCC were very nice and obliging which makes me want to be a regular customer.

One scoop is RM8.30, double scoop is RM14.60 and triple scoop is RM19.90. You could share a double scoop with a companion and pay less. The Coconut Ash flavour is the best as it tastes very unique, it’s coconut combined with charcoal hence the dark shade. From my observation, the flavours sell out very fast. Before dinner on Saturday, I checked the flavours at The Gardens outlet. I wanted to try Gula Melaka flavour after dinner but when I went back later, it was gone only to be replaced by another flavour.
