Inefficiency Rules The Day

A few days ago, I heard Meghan Trainor’s song “Lips Are Moving” for the first time on the radio (my friend wonders why it took me so long) and I liked it. It’s about a cheating boyfriend but it could so easily apply to all circumstances in which we are told one thing and nothing happens as promised.

So to continue with my Celcom problem (life loves to throw me Celcom curveballs to test my patience), I went to Blue Cube Pavilion today before noon and explained the situation to them, that I have reloaded RM30 to unsuspend my account, that it’s only partially unsuspended because I can make calls but cannot receive any calls nor send sms. They called the IT people for me and said my account would be fully unsuspended within 3 hours which means 3pm today but hello, what time is it now? It’s after 6pm and my account is status quo. So much for Blue Cube telling me that they have direct access to their IT people and so the situation can be expedited.

I think I shall be visiting every Blue Cube outlet I come across until this problem is settled to my satisfaction.

  1. Meow, I think only their lips are movin’ but the other parts of their bodies are not doing what is required to be done!

From my own experience, these days Customer Service is so “well trained” in that they repeat stock replies to the customer without first identifying the actual problem. They become so engrossed in their stock replies to the extent that they even ignore the customer’s actual problem. It is very frustrating indeed!
