FSBM Forms Strategic Alliance With Synergies And Zhong Yangto Revolutionizing Supply Chain Management In Southeast Asia

FSBM Holdings Berhad (“FSBM” or “the Company”) (富士通控股公司), through its wholly owned subsidiary, FSBM I-Centre Sdn. Bhd. (“FSBM I-Centre”, as known as C2M Elite Sdn. Bhd.), has announced a transformative partnership with Synergies Intelligent Systems, Inc. (“Synergies”) (讯能集思智能科技股份有限公司) and Zhong Yang Technology Co., Ltd. (“Zhong Yang”) (中扬光电股份有限公司). This strategic alliance aims to launch and deploy the groundbreaking HMLV.ai, a Customer-to-Manufacturer (C2M) platform powered by advanced AI algorithms, to enhance traditional supply chains in the fabricated metal industry across Southeast Asia.

The HMLV.ai platform is designed to address key procurement challenges, such as speed and cost, by leveraging on cutting-edge AI algorithms to deliver instant quotes for High Mix Low Volume (HMLV) product. This innovation promises improved efficiency and performance, empowering businesses to remain competitive in an ever-changing market. The initial focus will be on the fabricated metal industry, with plans to expand into different key manufacturing segments.

Malaysia alone represents a substantial market opportunity for HMLV.ai. According to Malaysia’s Department of Statistics (DOSM), the GDP for fabricated metal products in 2023 was approximately RM18 billion. We estimate that 1% of this sector requires High Mix Low Volume (HMLV) parts for research and development (R&D), new product introduction (NPI), and engineering studies. This translates to a market potential of RM180 million in Malaysia alone. These figures underscore the tremendous opportunity within this niche segment, and HMLV.ai is ideally positioned to capture it.

FSBM’s Managing Director, Mr. Pang Kiew Kun (“彭锦均”), mentioned: “This collaboration showcases our commitment to empowering businesses with advanced technologies. By integrating AI solutions to HMLV.ai, we aim to redefine the entire supply chain in the fabricated metal manufacturing industry from upstream to downstream by optimzing the part design, procurement, quality and pricing. With Malaysia as our hub, we are strategically positioned to support the Southeast Asia market, and this underscores our dedication to driving smart manufacturing and digital transformation as a regional leader.”

This initiative aims to create a robust and innovative ecosystem, offering a scalable and efficient AI-enabled supply chain solution tailored to the needs of the manufacturing sector. FSBM I-Centre will take the lead in identifying and onboarding local suppliers, while Synergies will ensure their seamless integration into the platform. Zhong Yang will ensure the quality and reliability of its contributions by implementing stringent evaluation processes and maintaining a consistently robust supply chain.

Mr. Pang emphasized the strategic value of the platform: “Quality remains our top priority. Zhong Yang is an affiliate of the Foxconn Global Network Corporation, which manufactures high precision tools and serves as a key supplier of lenses for Apple’s products. By leveraging the rigorous standards of the Foxconn supply chain as our benchmark, we invite Malaysian suppliers and end users to join our platform. Together, we are building an ecosystem that elevates local capabilities and showcasing them to the world. HMLV.ai is more than just a platform; it is a statement of intent—proof that innovation, when combined with execution, leads to transformational results.”

This initiative represents a major step toward revolutionizing the supply chain with AI capabilities and transforming the manufacturing landscape in Southeast Asia. With a mission to drive digital transformation and innovation, FSBM will continue to identify new opportunities and provide cutting-edge solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. Malaysia serves as a strategic hub, and this collaboration highlights the joint commitment of local and overseas parties to drive the manufacturing industry in the region and set new benchmarks in AI-driven smart manufacturing.
