Clinique Asia Pacific Vice President and General Manager Paul Slavin told The Moodie Report that Asia Pacific accounts for 52% of global sales of the Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer, underlining the importance of the Turnaround franchise for the brand in the region.
A few months ago, Clinique launched the new and improved version of the Turnaround Concentrate in Bangkok to Asia Pacific media. The Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer was a must-have product for many people. The only Clinique skimcare product one of my friends uses is the Visible Skin Renewer as it is her acne treatment. She introduced me to it many years ago and it is truly a fantastic product for reducing skin inflammations quickly. I never did use it on my entire face though, reserving it only for pimple problems.
Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer claims to deliver results twice as fast as the previous Turnaround Concentrate formula, in 4 weeks instead of 8 and improve skin clarity immediately by 74%. Basically, the new version is said to enhance the skin’s natural desquamation and maturation process by integrating three crucial key stages in skin cell renewal – cell division, maturation and desquamation.
While it still contains the previous key ingredients such as Salvia Sclarea (Clary) Extract Ferment, Chestnut Extract, Salicylic Acid and Acetyl Glucosamine, there are 2 new key ingredients – Padina Pavonica derived from a Mediterranean brown algae and Lactobionic Acid to help normalize exfoliation without irritation and bind water to the skin for a softer feel.
Compared to the Visible Skin Renewer, the Extra Radiance Renewer feels finer. My skin is immediately smoother after application, one pump from the bottle is sufficient for my entire face. After less than 4 weeks of usage, my skin texture had improved. Pores were more refined and my skin was more radiant. Even my skin tone had become more even with less obvious pigmentation spots even though I hadn’t used any whitening skincare with this serum.
I’ve used it twice a day mainly on my cheeks since my skin tone was most uneven on that area, not to mention enlarging pores. I’m very pleased with the results because my skin has never looked better or achieved such clarity as now. It’s even better than using any whitening serum and I guess that just may justify the price increase.
The Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer 30ml is RM200 & 50ml is RM280. Previously, Visible Skin Renewer 30ml was RM190 and 50ml was RM250.
