This year’s Estee Lauder Lucidity Pressed Powder Holiday Collection 2014 is no less stunning than previous years. When I got to the Estee Lauder counter at Isetan KLCC, they’d already sold out of the Solid Perfume Compacts which remain very popular among Estee Lauder fans here. Personally, I prefer the Lucidity Pressed Powder Compacts since they are refillable. Lucidity is Estee Lauder’s most universal, versatile powder, Lucidity creates a “soft-focus” effect that gives skin a luminous finish, helping minimize the look of lines and wrinkles.
According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of The Goat brings wisdom and a new understanding for each other. Women born in this year are known for their creativity, intelligence and charm. They are wise, compassionate and work well in a team. This refillable golden compact has bold colors and crystals.

My favourite is the one embossed with “Cheers” as it’s simple yet speaks volumes about the holiday season in which these limited edition compacts are available. This golden compact with a pink crystal clasp is what I can afford at RM280. I’d also go for the blue crystal studded square compact but those are the most expensive at RM1480.
