I’m not a fan of sweet scented fragrances unless they are Escada. Love their fruity scents which always remind one of tropical paradises and faraway beaches. Escada Turquoise Summer EDT is their limited edition fragrance for summer 2015. Every year since 1993, Escada has launched a limited edition summer fragrance.
Top notes are tutti frutti notes intensified by a joyful cocktail of berries – strawberry combined with juicy raspberry and blackcurrant. At the heart, the red fruits give way to a fleshy peach note, perfectly complemented by the fresh floral scent of violet and orange blossom. The intense fruitiness is balanced by the sensual base notes with a relaxing blend of creamy vanilla and smooth sandalwood.
As this is an EDT, the scent doesn’t last long. It isn’t overwhelmingly sweet but you can really smell the berries. The bottle has a printed fabric band with a butterfly on the cap, it is rather flimsy as it came off after I took off the cap the second time. After that, it didn’t stay on at all.
