Atria Shopping Gallery, one of Klang Valley’s iconic malls in the mid-1980s located in the heart of Damansara Jaya unveiled its festive celebrations ‘The Luminous Raya’ last week, an international cross-cultural showcase that celebrates the heritage, culture and traditions of Malaysia and the Middle East.
Atria Shopping Gallery kicked off the upcoming Raya celebration with a media launch of ‘The Luminous Raya’ at the centre court, ground level. The celebration of Atria Shopping Gallery was graced by Doctor Ong, the President of Damansara Jaya Association and began with welcome remarks by the COO of OSK Property Investment, Mr. Seth Lim, followed by the official launch of the campaign signified through the lighting of Middle Eastern lamps by Mr. Seth Lim event continued with a heartfelt Middle East Arabic Dance Performance and Middle East Arabic Instrumental Performance ending with an inclusive “buka Puasa” session with underprivileged children from Rumah Suci Rohani sponsored by Atria Shopping Gallery in collaboration with Fuzi Magic chaired by Puan Fuzi, Bezita Global Production and My Creative Promotion Sdn Bhd.
“Apart from rejoicing the frestivity, it is important we strive to be as inclusive as possible. As a community-centric mall, it is important to contribute to the needy society and go beyond accepting to embracing. Inclusion must be at the heart of what we do. We are very delighted to know that our tenants are very supportive of this Raya CSR activities for the twenty children from Rumah Suci Rohani and we will ensure that CSR at heart is continued even after the festive period with the aid from all our tenants. I thank all the participating tenants for their continuous support for the deserving community”, said Mr. Seth Lim.
In keeping with the spirit of the season, there was plenty of festive fun before breaking fast together with a delicious buffet. Children were treated with playtime at Jungle Gym & Bomb Battle Elite, a decent hair cut at Kwik Cut and Atmosphere Salon, treats from MBO Cinema, a gift of fish tank and fish for each child, duit raya from RUMA, plushie toys from Homes Harmony as well as gelato ice cream treat at Swich Cafe. The kids were also taken to Harvest Stationery to grab their school essentials sponsored by Atria Shopping Gallery.
As you enter Atria Shopping Gallery, you will be greeted with contemporary Middle Eastern lamps in bright, stunning colours that dangle elegantly from the intricately colourful drapes hanging at the centre court of ground level and other stunning backdrops filled with photo-worthy opportunities. Equally Instagrammable are the elegant courtyard with a private lounge area and panoramic fountain as the centre piece. The Luminous Raya campaign runs from now till 21 April 2024.
