After attending the informative Enchanti Naturals scrub and bath salts workshop before Chinese New Year, I wanted to try my hand at making the Himalaya Pink Salt Scrub which was a relatively easy process and required few ingredients. I wouldn’t make candles but this one is really fast to make. So I needed Himalaya Pink Salt which I got from Sogo supermarket at RM2.70 for 500gm. I didn’t want to go hunting for sweet almond oil at supermarkets and shops that sell essential oil didn’t sell them at my kind of price. So the best place to shop for the rest of the ingredients was naturally Shopee.
I put in an order for 100ml of sweet almond oil, 10ml each of lavender and peppermint essential oil and a 10ml glass beaker for measuring the sweet almond oil on Wednesday and this morning Poslaju delivered the parcel. How is that for speedy delivery. I am impressed with the packaging too as everything other than the sweet almond oil was bubble wrapped. There was free shipping so the whole thing totalled around RM42.
