Dato’ K. Rajagobal Launched His First Autobiography ‘Inilah Saya’ At BookXcess MyTOWN

BookXcess MyTOWN Shopping Centre was filled with excitement today as football fans and readers gathered for the launch of Inilah Saya, the autobiography of Malaysia’s renowned former national football coach, Dato’ K. Rajagobal.

The event brought together football fans and readers for a special opportunity to meet the man who guided the Malaysia team to their historic 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup victory. For the first time in a bookstore
setting, Dato’ K. Rajagobal met readers, signed copies of his book, and joined them in a warm meet & greet session.

To the delight of many, the event also featured a special appearance by national football legends Safee Sali and also Zaquan Adha. Their presence created a meaningful reunion that celebrated one of the country’s proudest sporting achievements.

The autobiography traces Dato’ K. Rajagobal’s inspiring journey — from his early years in Setapak to becoming a player, coach, and leader who shaped Malaysian football history. Inilah Saya goes beyond football, offering readers lessons on resilience, ambition, and the courage to be true to oneself. “This book

is more than just my story. It is about the struggles, sacrifices, and unwavering belief that dreams can come true, no matter where you’re from,” said Dato’ K. Rajagobal at the launch.

Published by Karangkraf and written in Bahasa Melayu, Inilah Saya is priced at RM49.00, and is now available at BookXcess MyTOWN.
