There are a number of interesting skincare products at Too Cool For School. I’ve got to try their Pumpkin Sleeping Pack one of these days. Their McGirly Rice Scrub contains rice ferment extract, oat extract, black willow extract, white mushroom extract. Seems more like these are ingredients for some gourmet dish instead of skincare, doesn’t it?
The granules are really fine and tiny so there’s no way anyone can say this is a harsh scrub. In fact, they are a bit too fine for my liking until I felt like my skin wasn’t getting the exfoliation it was supposed to. Doesn’t it look more like a creamy cleanser than a scrub?
Anyway, the effect wasn’t soft, smooth skin but I suppose my skin had received some sort of exfoliation, just not to the extent I am used to and when I purchase a facial scrub, I’d go for one that makes my skin softer/smoother and look more radiant. This didn’t.

does it feel a little like soft sand?
Yes, you could put it like that. Doesn’t feel like a typical scrub.
Should be alright for daily use?
Yup, I find it really mild.
