Day Perfecting Fluid & Cell Renewal Night Cream
In my earlier post, I stated that Caudalie’s Vinoperfect range had 3 new products, 2 of them being the Day Perfecting Fluid SPF15 and Cell Renewal Night Cream. They contain 500 ppm of Viniferine each. Viniferine is the key ingredient in all of Vinoperfect’s new products and has a 3-pronged action:-

Regulates tyrosinase which homogenizes the formation of melanin.

Protects tyrosinase from cellular oxidation reactions (oxidative stress), directly responsible for the formation of dark spots.

Helps boost radiance by promoting micro-circulation.
Other than Viniferine, the Day Perfecting Fluid SPF15 contains papaya enzyme, powder and tanins. This is a very lightweight skin-toned fluid which doubles up as a make-up base as it evens skin tone slightly so if you like, you can get away with no foundation/powder once you’ve applied the Day Perfecting Fluid provided of course, that you don’t have that much pigmentation/acne scars etc.
There’s a fine shimmer in the fluid which is actually a trio of optical smoothing agents (mattifying microbeads, soft focus powders and silica spheres coated in light-reflecting titanium dioxide and iron oxide) so you may see a slight radiance after application of the Day Perfecting Fluid.
This is an oil-free fluid so presumably oily skins won’t have clogged pores or other issues with this moisturizer. The finish is quite matte and it has a citrus fragrance (green mandarin, sweet orange and peppermint). While I like the texture of this day moisturizer, I do wish that the SPF was higher like SPF30 perhaps. Bonus points for the design of the nozzle which is a tiny opening at the tip as you really don’t need much of this product so you can control the amount that comes out very easily.
Day Perfecting Fluid is 30ml/RM200.
The Cell Renewal Night Cream has a gentle exfoliating complex (papaya enzyme and a cross-linked glycolic acid exfoliant). The formula works during the night by performing a gradual micro-exfoliation action.
When you’re using a whitening serum + moisturizers, it’s hard to tell whether the improvement in clarity comes from the serum or moisturizers or all of the above. I have been using these moisturizers with Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Complexion Correcting.
Anyway, the Cell Renewal Night Cream is not too thick or rich for my dry skin. I need all the hydration I can get and this one does provide quite enough. The fragrance is a combination of sweet orange, orange flower and petit grain.
