I don’t know about you but I always prefer to browse the beauty counters or shelves when the promoter isn’t there breathing down my neck. Then, I can really take my time and don’t feel I am pressured to purchase anything I might regret later on.
Anyway I was at Guardian KLCC and zoomed to Catrice Cosmetics since the promoter (who is actually very nice) wasn’t there and I could take my own sweet time looking at everything in more detail. Catrice Cosmetics Cake Pop Beautifying Lip Smoother comes in a long tube with a flock applicator so you don’t need to use your fingers. The colour is a pastel pink, feels like a lip balm. If I apply lipstick without the Lip Smoother, the colour doesn’t look even and is slightly patchy.
With the Lip Smoother on, the lipstick looks much more polished and even glossy. In a nutshell, my lips look a lot better with the Lip Smoother applied prior to lipstick.

Do u think this can be applied underneath matte lipstick without losing the matte effect? Matte lipstick often acentuates the fine lines on lip. It’ll be really cool if this works with matte lipstick too.
Good question and I can answer this because I have been using underneath MAC Prabal Gurung matte lipstick and it doesn’t accentuate fine lines. It works!
