It’d been years since I last had a meal at Coliseum Cafe. As their Gardens Mall outlet offered breakfast sets, I thought it was time for a visit as the quality of their food has never disappointed. Their breakfast sets are available till noon and I would say they are reasonably priced for Coliseum Cafe.
For a simple breakfast, you can have soft boiled egg & toast or kaya & butter toast which comes with coffee or tek tarik. For a little more substantial breakfast, you can have scrambled egg or omelet set (comes with sauteed fresh button mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and a strip of beef bacon) or Coliseum Breakfast which looks like a Big Breakfast as there’s egg, sausages, toast, beef bacon and baked beans.
I chose the omelet set & was served a good sized (thick) piece of toast with a mound of scrambled egg, tomatoes and button mushrooms in a delicious brown sauce and a strip of yummy beef bacon. For RM12.50 before tax, this is a very good value breakfast.
