Breakfast at TWG The Gardens is such a treat. The breakfast sets aren’t cheap as one set is equivalent to 9 McDonald’s breakfast sets. There are 4 Breakfast sets, each named after a major city such as Paris Breakfast, London Breakfast, Singapore Breakfast and New York Breakfast. How about a KL Breakfast with some local influence, TWG?
I ordered New York Breakfast @ RM45 and it consists of:-
- TWG tea from their extensive tea list (it’d be those priced at RM21, not the more premium ones)
- Freshly squeezed orange or apple juice
- Eggs Benedict
- Homemade toasted English muffins topped with two poached farmhouse eggs served with creamy hollandaise sauce and a choice of smoked salmon or turkey ham
The orange juice was thick and they weren’t kidding when they said “freshly squeezed”, definitely not out of a container with preservatives. The sauce was lush and creamy and amazing with the smoked salmon.
Let’s have a look at the desserts, so mouth-watering.

Apple tart with vanilla ice cream is the favourite dessert of one of my dining companions.
Opalys Cream (Grand Wedding Tea) was the only complete cake there. This is a chocolate cake which looks very decadent.
Choice of small cakes, all look too good to be eaten.
My favourite TWG cake, Singapore Surprise simply because it is light and never ever dry even if it looks like yesterday’s cake since there were only 2-3 slices left and I was there at 11.30am so it can’t have almost sold out within an hour an a half.
Ooh, the breakfast sure looks good. the small cakes are sure look too good too be eaten.
