Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Kajal Liner is a dual-ended pencil with built-in smudger to create that perfect smokey eye look. Black Coffee is a brownish black which is ideal for those looking for a softer black, less intense than the Jet Long-Wear Eye Pencil I reviewed recently. This Smokey Eye Kajal Liner is no less saturated or pigmented though and it feels just as soft and gentle on lids. There’s zero tugging and applies so smoothly that I wonder whether it’s been applied until I look up and see that indeed there is colour on my lids.
Smokey Eye Kajal Liner is formulated with Palm Kernel and Japanese Fruit wax for a creamy application. It doesn’t dry immediately which makes it easy to smudge with the built-in applicator. However within an hour of application, there was some slight migration to my under-eye area but not as severe as with the Jet Long-Wear Eye Pencil which gave me more serious panda eyes than this one.
The Smokey Eye Kajal Liner is available in 6 shades : Noir, Black Coffee, Pacific, Black Amethyst, Jade and Storm. It retails at RM90.
