Big Bad Wolf Books Presents The World’s Biggest Book Experience In Kuala Lumpur

Big Bad Wolf Books proudly announces the launch of the World’s Biggest Book Experience, its largest and most immersive annual event, happening from 19 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. This highly anticipated flagship event will feature millions of books across all genres, discounts of up to 95%, and a fully redesigned experiential layout created to transform the way Malaysians discover and enjoy books.

Journalists attending yesterday’s exclusive media preview at the Big Bad Wolf Headquarters were given a rare behind-the-scenes look at the operational scale behind the Book Experience — including warehouse preparations, curation processes, and a first glimpse into the new zones and programming planned for Kuala Lumpur.

A NEW ERA: The World’s Biggest Book Experience
This year marks Big Bad Wolf Books’ most ambitious effort to date, featuring a redesigned layout aimed at creating a dynamic, family-friendly environment. The event introduces:

  • Curated Genre Lanes for easier browsing
  • An expanded Children’s Discovery Zone with learning corners and interactive setups
  • Daily festive activities including storytelling, meet-and-greet sessions, and creative demonstrations
  • Photo-worthy installations inspired by the brand’s playful visual identity

“Our goal for 2025 is to turn book hunting into a full experience — one that is exciting not only for avid readers, but also for families, children, and even first-time visitors,” said Jacqueline Ng, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books. “We want people to leave feeling inspired, entertained, and connected through books.”

FIRST-EVER APPEARANCE OF THE BIG BAD WOLF MASCOT
For the first time in Malaysia, the official Big Bad Wolf mascot will appear at the Kuala Lumpur flagship event — marking its debut on home ground after successful international appearances in the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia.

“The wolf has always been symbolic of breaking barriers to reading,” shared Andrew Yap, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books. “This year, we’re bringing that character to life. Families and children will finally get to meet the Wolf up close — making this our most engaging and memorable edition yet.”

As Big Bad Wolf’s flagship event returns annually to Kuala Lumpur, visitors can look forward to new surprises each year — with the Wolf set to play an even bigger role in shaping future Book Experiences.

RIDICULOUS PRICES, MILLIONS OF BOOKS
True to its mission of making books accessible to all, visitors can expect:

  • Millions of books across every category
  • Brand new premium titles, not second-hand
  • Discounts of up to 95%
  • Restocks and new arrivals throughout the 17-day event
  • Extended hours until 2:00 a.m. to accommodate holiday crowds

“This event is built on accessibility,” Andrew added. “The combination of variety, affordability, and a unique experience is what keeps Malaysians coming back.”
