Bernard Chandran Launches Area27

Bernard Chandran’s Area27 was launched this afternoon in a side street off busy and crowded Jalan Bukit Bintang wth a street party and fashion show by Andrews Models. Kuala Lumpur’s style-set and celebrities such as Deborah Henry, Jehan Miskin and Joanne Rozario were present at the official launch of Area27.

Everyone was waiting for Bernard Chandran to make his grand entrance and it was quite an entrance as he turned up in a Proton Satria Neo with the number plate “Area 27”. He proceeded to splash paint over the car, transforming it into an art piece. He was then joined by renowned graffiti artist Bob from Kioue Super Sunday in unlocking a festival of street art in the open.
