bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment

Now here’s a “sleeping pack” with a difference, it’s in the form of powder. I’ve never seen anything like this but it’d have to be bareMinerals to come up with something like this as they are the mineral experts. Described as “a groundbreaking nighttime mineral treatment”, it is powered by bareMinerals proprietary Active Soil Complex.

This is a concentrated powder which is probably why there is only 4.2g in the plastic jar. A little really goes a long way with this one. I buff it on to my face 2-3 times before I sleep and it doesn’t look like there is a layer of powder on my face. There is quite a strong mineral scent though. The brush is almost like a kabuki brush. It does take a little effort to buff it on to all areas of the face as the brush is a bit too fat to be buffed around the nose area.

The purpose of the powder is to reduce pores, increase luminosity and deliver faster cell turnover. I don’t have large pores so I can’t say whether this powder will reduce the appearance of pores but my skin does look well rested and has a bit of a glow once I’ve washed off the powder in the morning.

The ActiveSoil Complex is also said to improve elasticity and firmness. I’ve been using it 2-3 times a week for over a month but can’t say that my skin feels any firmer. However, there have been no breakouts since I started using this treatment.

bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment comes in 2 shades – Clear and Light. The one reviewed here is in Clear. Available exclusively at Sephora at RM255.
