Spotted this cute The Balm eye shadow quad at Sasa yesterday – it has a winter theme. Cold weather would be so welcome right now, I am sweltering. Each of the eye shadows is named after a world famous ski resort, Zermatt in Switzerland, Aspen in Colorado USA, Whistler in BC, Canada and Cortina in The Dolomites, Italy.

You can very easily create a smoky eye look with these rather pigmented shadows.

  1. I tried a single pan neutral coloured eye shadow from this brand some years ago but I was not impressed at all as the colour pay off wasn’t that good. I hope now their quality has improved!
