Like many others, I like to apply loose powder to set my liquid foundation and eliminate or minimise shine throughout the day. Some liquid foundations have a tendency to melt and setting liquid foundations with loose powder helps the liquid foundation stay put.
Currently, I am using Averine 100% Mineral Loose Powder which comes with a powder puff. To dispense the powder, I have to turn the container upside-down and herein lies the problem. It’s messy and the powder goes all over the mirror which renders it useless. There should have been a separator between the mirror and powder section.
My powder is in the Ivory shade, there are only 2 shades – the other being Natural which is only slightly darker than Ivory. Packaging aside, I like this loose powder as it’s rather translucent, light and airy. It doesn’t make my skin appear cakey either, it is quite natural allowing my skin to breathe.
