This year, a few beauty brands have come out with lotions which are technically not toners even if they may look and feel like toners. These lotions boost the performance of subsequent skincare, prep the skin and enhance skin moisture level. Some lotions can be quite pricey but I think that Astalift Moist Lotion is one of the more reasonably priced ones at RM148/130ml.
Astalift Moist Lotion comes in a pump bottle which is great because you don’t need to pour out the lotion which may cause accidental spillage and waste. It uses the “Smart Refill®” refillable cartridge system, designed to keep the pump tube unexposed during the refill process to ensure hygiene and prevent spillage.
I do find Astalift Moist Lotion to be rather hydrating and it’s fantastic for softening skin. I just haven’t achieved elastically firm and supple skin with this lotion. However, it is good to know that it contains Nano Vitamin Ax which combines Vitamin A with the antioxidant astaxanthin to produce nanoparticles of the world’s smallest level of 50 nanometers, dispersed in solution to form a nano-solution. That can only be of benefit to my aging skin!
