Not everyone uses a day and night moisturiser but I do believe that more people are becoming aware of the need for separate moisturisers as many day moisturisers now comes with sunscreen while night moisturisers have skin repairing and rejuvenating properties which only work when skin is resting. Murad City Skin Overnight Detox Moisturiser, launched recently, is a night-time moisturiser which detoxifies the skin from the pollutants and toxins that have accumulated throughout the day. Its super-charged antioxidants from marrubium plant stem cells neutralize pollutants and strengthens the skin’s barrier while you sleep and Vitamin C immediately evens out and brightens skin tone.
One pump and out comes the moisturiser without the necessity of contaminating the contents. Much more hygienic this way except my container seems a bit flimsy. The top keep coming off when I remove the plastic cap, exposing all the contents. The moisturiser is very soft and while creamy, is neither too rich nor thick. My skin looks more well rested in the mornings and appears less dull. It’s one of the better night moisturisers I’ve used but then again, I would expect any Murad product to be above the rest in terms of quality.
