It’s not as thick as it looks, it applies on to skin very easily and absorption is almost immediate. It gives my dry skin a moisture boost and indeed, this product is designed for normal to dry skin. I think that mature skins would much benefit from this especially before applying foundation.
A blend of Lychee Extract and Caffeine help renew skin’s natural energy while Muru Muru Seed and Shea Butter help repair the moisture barrier. With this on, my dull looking skin looks illuminated and brighter with a slight dewy glow.
This is a great product for making skin look instantly more healthy and brighter. In addition, it helps keep my skin well hydrated. I apply this after sunscreen and just before liquid foundation.

Your skin sure looks more plump after using it. Is it a primer or moisturiser since you apply it after sunscreen?
I would say it is an illuminating moisturizer. Technically not a primer because you don’t have to use it under make-up. It’s more skincare than part of make-up.
how is it different from cc cream?
This gives no coverage at all. The main effects of this Moisture Balm is that it gives a dewy illuminating look + hydrates skin. If you want even sheer coverage of spots/imperfections, you would need to apply BB/CC Cream or foundation after this.
