I am not exactly sure what they mean by an “energy-boosting moisturiser”, I’d have been more convinced if they’d simply called this “hydration-boosting” since I doubt any moisturiser can boost one’s energy level. Anyway, this one is for brightening too as it contains Panax Ginseng and Coffee Bean (could Coffee Bean be the energy-boosting ingredient?).
It’s neither too heavy nor too light, quite a nice consistency. The citrus scent is uplifting but a bit strong if you dislike scents in your skincare products. It hydrates my skin quite well but not enough to convince me this is a must-have moisturiser.
Thanks for the review! Probably what Origins mean is giving more ‘energy’ to the skin because of active ingredients in Panax Ginseng? panax ginseng is said to give boost more energy in the body and balance the body ‘gi’.
Just the word ginzeng got me curious on this product !
I got a sample of this in like the smell and makes the skin feel smooth but as u said doesn’t hydrate as much as one expects after going thru their advertisement
Energy boosting is seriously misleading because I’m not sure whether my skin is lack of energy now.
