Juniper
Thanks to Korean skincare, we’ve seen quite a lot of snail mucus in their creams and serums but there’s also snail facials. If you’re not the sort to be easily grossed out, you might be game enough to try this kind of facial as it purportedly has anti-ageing benefits but I wouldn’t as just thinking of the slime they leave on my skin and the feeling of the snails crawling all over my face makes makes me shudder.
Still, snail facials don’t come cheap as the snails are probably bred for this purpose and from what I have read online, some are fed organic fruits and vegetables so they have an even better diet than us humans! Well, I’d like to know if you’d try any kind of facials including ones that involved slimy molluscs slithering all over your face if the results are that you’ll look younger. Nooooo I wouldn’t have the guts to try it out! I’m very scared of reptiles and sticky crawling creatures so I really can’t imagine the snails crawling on my face! OMG i have goosebumps now~~

Snails slithering all over my face??? Probably would if I already fainted before the process begins. I don’t even dare to touch snails. I had tried those snails cream and do like them since it is just like normal gelish cream and there is no slimy feeling. However, with the snails walking my face..mmm, probably if it is a dare. On the other hand, if it can me look 20 years younger then I might really do it.
Hi Juniper, my professor who is doing research on anti-ageing herbs also mentioned snail mucus during the lecture! Actually I am not afraid of snail slithering on my face. 😀 From what I imagine, it could be a quite relaxing process as they move very slow, hahahaha!! I also heard of snake therapy which they put snake on somebody back and then let them crawl which can help to relieve pain. I supposed they are almost the same. 😀
I will stick to korean snail mask only…hehe
