According to the product description on Perricone MD’s official website, the Nutritive Cleanser is a facial wash formulated with Alpha Lipoic Acid and DMAE that delivers anti-aging benefits by gently removing impurities, makeup and environmental pollution.
It has a non-irritating/non-drying formula and promises to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. It has a not-too-runny gel consistency, something like liquid soap which transforms to a thin, gentle lather when combined with a bit of water.
As far as removing make-up is concerned, it does a great job as there aren’t any residues on my skin after the cleanser’s been washed off but I’m not at all fond of the scent as it was too strong and too chemical for my liking. The scent hits me in the face and I’d have liked this cleanser a lot more if it wasn’t for the scent.
This review is based on a 59ml sample, the full size is 177ml. Wonder why such odd figures – why not a 60ml sample and a 200ml full size bottle? I don’t have the price of this one but I reckon it’s at least RM150. Yes, it really is non-drying on my skin.
OMG, YOU TRIED PERRICONE MD!!!!!! I’ve always wanted to try the brand because I always liked the apothecary feeling that products can give me. Brands like Kiehl’s and Aesop, you know. I am jealous of you now.
Hello, it’s just a small size cleanser but it’s not bad other than the scent.
