There’s a range of Pink Kiss Peel Off Mask I always see in Watsons packaged in little sachets for one-time use. They’re priced at RM3.90 which isn’t a lot considering sheet masks retail for RM5.90 upwards.
Then at the recent Golden Corner sale at Cititel, early birds were given complimentary sachets of these masks which were also on sale at RM2.50 each. Mine was the Refresh Pack (Mud) which is essentially a clay mask with white mulberry and green tea extract.
No doubt, clay masks are expected to be thicker than your average hydration mask but I didn’t expect this one to be quite so orange-peach and the consistency was the gooiest, gummiest, most sticky and thick I’ve ever encountered of any mask.
In fact, it was so sticky that I had difficulty applying it all over my face. The mask stuck to my fingers, it wasn’t easy to spread it evenly and bubbles started to form but I couldn’t do anything about it without the mask sticking to my fingers again.
It was a chore getting the mask off my fingers and I had to scrape off the residue. The mask took about 15-20 minutes to dry, didn’t feel tight even when it was dry. When I removed it, some parts weren’t completely dry yet but the mask around my nose and cheeks were already dry.
It’s better to wait till the mask is completely dry because it’s also a chore removing the residue as it’s so sticky. The results are a brighter and smoother complexion but I’m not sure if it was meant to remove blackheads because my stubborn blackheads refused to budge.
The Pink Kiss masks are also available in Aloe Vera and Milk. Each sachet contains 10gms of product. Pink Kiss masks are made in Korea.
