As food security, supply chain resilience and commercial innovation become increasingly critical to the future of the global food and beverage industry, Malaysia is bringing together a premier gathering of F&B industry players at the Malaysian International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) 2026 from 15–17 July at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Celebrating its 25th edition, MIFB will serve as a premier commercial platform for F&B market leaders to exchange ideas, forge corporate partnerships and explore the private-sector innovations shaping the next chapter of Southeast Asia’s food ecosystem.
Y.B. Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, will attend the opening as the Guest of Honour to deliver a keynote address, sharing insights on navigating global supply chain challenges and the industry’s role in future-readiness.
Returning under the theme “Future-Ready F&B: Powering the Next Wave”, MIFB 2026 comes at a pivotal time as businesses independently respond to shifting consumer preferences, evolving sustainability expectations and increasingly complex supply chains.
Over the past quarter-century, the event has evolved from a traditional trade exhibition into a business-first platform that connects industry stakeholders and accelerates cross-border partnerships to support market expansion across Southeast Asia.
Driving Innovation: The MIFB Knowledge Hub
In line with the exhibition’s overarching theme, this year’s MIFB Knowledge Hub will equip F&B businesses at every stage, from startups to scaling exporters, with practical strategies to build resilience and drive growth. Covering topics such as AI and automation, operational efficiency, business scaling, data-driven decision-making, and export readiness, the programme features an industry-leading lineup of speakers from organisations including Toastmaker, HEXA IOT, Tetra Pak, StoreHub, Subway, Supergulp, PurelyB, World Halalpreneur Council, WonderBrew, and more. Celebrity Chef Alan Coxon will also be sharing on Building F&B Brands That Last 40 Years, Not 40 Days. Through expert keynotes and practical sessions, attendees will gain actionable insights to strengthen operations, unlock new growth opportunities, and prepare their businesses for international expansion.
Celebrating World-Class Talent and Innovation
Visitors can also experience a range of industry showcases, including the Malaysia National Coffee Championship (MNCC), organised in partnership with the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA).
Highlighting Malaysia’s world-class standard on the global stage, this year’s championship proudly celebrates the recent milestone achievements of its 2025 local champions: Nas Jaafar, who was recently crowned the 2026 World Brewers Cup Champion, and Jacky Chang, who secured 1st Runner-Up at the 2026 World Latte Art Championship. Together, MIFB and MCE spotlight premier homegrown talent, showcase evolving consumer trends, and provide fresh insights into the rapidly growing café and specialty coffee landscape.
Global Sourcing and Collaboration
MIFB 2026 will also welcome international pavilions from China, India, Poland, South Korea, Turkiye, Thailand and many others, providing buyers and trade visitors with direct access to global partners, emerging food innovations and new sourcing opportunities. Their participation reflects Malaysia’s growing role as a regional gateway for food trade, investment and industry collaboration.
Beyond the exhibition floor, MIFB 2026 offers a curated programme designed to create meaningful business opportunities while equipping industry professionals with practical insights into market trends:
