Early this year, I came across Shero make-up on Shopee – the brand is founded by none other than Malaysia’s renowned and fabulous supermodel, Amber Chia who actually needs no introduction. Therefore, we can be assured that anything under her name is of high quality. At the beginning of this month, I was sent some Shero products to review and 2 of them are the Shero Ultra Moist Longwear Lipsticks in 03 Nude Baby & 04 Wine Fever.
Most of the lipsticks I see nowadays, whether in physical stores or online these days are inevitably matte and I can’t use matte as they are too drying for my lips. Shero Ultra Moist Longwear Lipstick comes in 5 shades, the other 3 are 01 Shiny Star, 02 Pink Darling & 05 Red Diva.
I chose 03 & 04 because I think these are the nicest shades & I especially love wine reds as the colour looks very chic and sophisticated but a nude colour is always great and practical for every day wear and all occasions.
Firstly, the casing of the lipsticks is really good, solid and hefty with a magnetic closure so it doesn’t become loose in your bag. It is indeed moisturising as it contains a Complex of Coconut, Jojoba, MacadamiaTernifolia Seed & Meadowfoam Seed Oils. There is a soft matte finish without compromising on hydration.
The lipstick is highly saturated/pigmented. One swipe is enough to cover lips with its rich colour. Best of all, it’s rather smudge-proof/transfer-proof so you don’t need to re-apply after eating/drinking. For a local brand, I think that it’s even better than most of the international brands I’ve tried in the past. Nude Baby is a very natural colour but not too nude as I can still see the brownish shade while Wine Fever is my favourite, so ideal for my skin tone.
