YES First To Launch 5G Services In Malaysia

The announcement comes in the wake of Digital Nasional Berhad [DNB]’s launch of Malaysia’s 5G services today.

How to sign up:

  • Customers need to sign up to a YES FT5G Plan on our Website (, from an Authorised Dealer or 163 MyNews Outlets across Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.
  • If the customer has a supported 5G phone, activate the SIM through the MyYes App (App Store/Google Play) and insert the SIM into the phone to instantly experience 5G. If outside 5G coverage, YES’ 4G LTE network will be utilised instead.

If the customer does not have a 5G enabled phone, sign up to any YES FT5G 99 Postpaid Bundle through the YES’ online store (, to enjoy FREE or generously subsidised phones delivered to their doorstep.

Current 5G coverage areas include Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and parts of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, with plans to expand to the whole of Klang Valley by end-2022.
