There’s nothing like trying out several products from a brand and that’s possible if you have THEFACESHOP’s 10th Anniversary Special Set which contains 5 products. The first product I tried from this set is Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam which is formulated with traditional rice water once used by the women of the Korean royal court. I’m thinking of “Dae Jang Geum” as I use this cleanser. Maybe I will have skin as translucent as Lee Young Ae. Her skin practically glowed in the drama.
The foam does feel like whipped cream and there’s a lot of it, rich and luxurious foam which feels so nice on my skin. However, this cleanser is not for removing make-up so even if you apply it directly on to skin hoping it’ll remove all make-ip residues, it will not. It’s suitable to be used in the 2nd step of double cleansing.
I don’t see any skin brightening effect after rinsing off but at least it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. It’s relatively inexpensive and quite economical because you don’t need much to create thick foam. It retails at RM35.90.
