For the longest time, I have wanted to try a Sleek MakeUP product as I have read good reviews about their products online. I find their prices very reasonable and affordable which is probably why I couldn’t get hold of one of their eye shadow palettes. They are selling hotter than hot cakes as all of them were sold out online, this is a testament to the popularity of the brand. So I chose the Sleek MakeUP Lip 4 Palette in Showgirl which was sold out after I put in my order. Where can you get a good quality lip palette at that kind of price?
Normally, I don’t gravitate towards pink lip shades but the 4 pinks in Sleek MakeUP Lip 4 Palette in Showgirl are just so pretty and I was sure that I could combine shades if I found one or two too pink for my liking. That’s the good thing about lip palettes, you can mix shades until you find one you really love.
Sleek MakeUP Lip 4 Palette in Showgirl comes with a mirror and a lip brush which is a little stiff but nevertheless workable. The shades are a combination of satin, matte and glossy. I love the smooth finish of the satin and glossy shades whereas the matte shade (bottom right of the palette) was a bit too dry for me but like I said, one can always mix it with any of the other shades.
All the shades have fantastic colour pay-off and pigments. It does not disappoint and it is also long-lasting as it doesn’t fade even after hours of wear. The shades are so vibrant – I especially like the berry shade (top right of the palette) as it is gorgeous.
At this kind of price, one might expect the compact to be not as sturdy as this but it looks professional and not cheap. Overall, this is a value-for-money lip palette which I highly recommend.
