It was a dark and stormy night, the rain fell in torrents and I was stuck in a restaurant a few doors away from Zebra Square, where SK-II would be launching their Hatta Dolmat Couture Hantaran Set and where the acclaimed designer would be presenting his bridal showcase at this exclusive closed-door by-invitation-only event last night.

Intricately designed by Hatta himself, the limited edition coffret features his timeless bridal gown design and exquisite French lace accents that is prominent in his 2015 bridal couture collection.

To celebrate the unveiling of the ‘SK-II & Hatta Dolmat Couture Hantaran Set’, Hatta wowed the audience with a stunning showcase of five bridal gowns and five men’s suits specially designed for SK-II, and twenty designs from his 2015 bridal couture collection.

In shades of white, off-white, ivory and rose-gold, his gowns for SK-II are modern, elegant and sophisticated with traditional accents in the detailing. French lace and textured fabric were used to highlight the cuts while the men’s suits featured tuxedo cutting and classic cuts with ties and bow ties.

The SK-II x Hatta Dolmat Bridal Couture Show was also a tribute to Hatta’s ‘Principessa (which means princess in Italian) themed bridal collection that won him an award in 2010. The exquisite Hatta Dolmat gowns would make any woman feel like a princess.

Yuna enchanted us with 3 songs, her voice is truly beautiful and it’s no wonder she has achieved international fame and will most probably become an even bigger superstar in time.

Accessories for the models in the show were provided by Scha Fadly and the dazzling wedding décor set-up was done by renowned Malaysian wedding planner, Adi Putra Décor to complete the wedding ambiance of this bridal show event.
