When we’re away from home for just a few days, bringing along deluxe sized skincare products saves a lot of space and adds minimal weight to our luggage. Sephora has just the cleansers for removing eye makeup and face makeup in the form of 50ml bottles of Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover and Triple Action Cleansing Water.
The bi-phase Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover contains a lash-strengthening complex that’s rich in flavonoids and olive wood extracts. You need to shake the bottle before use to mix the 2 parts together until it turns into a light blue solution. It worked well for me in removing eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara but if the solution gets into my eyes, it can sting a little. Ouch!
I much preferred the Triple Action Cleansing Water for 2 main reasons – firstly, it didn’t sting my eyes and secondly, it removes more than just eye makeup so on lazy days or if I don’t have access to water, I just have to use 1 product and everything on my face is taken off nicely. This one has a soap-free formula and features cleansing spheres that effectively capture and eliminate impurities and makeup.
