Here’s another lip product from NYX that is neither lipstick nor lip gloss, it’s a hybrid of both. It’s similar to the Soft Matte Lip Cream but this one doesn’t feel as dry nor does it enhance the lines on my lips. The Xtreme Lip Cream feels a lot more comfortable on my lips. It feels more like a lip gloss than a lipstick.
It is extremely pigmented and colour pay-off is so fantastic that I only need to apply once for the colour to come out bright, vibrant and strong. I thought I wouldn’t like the colour when I saw the tube but to my surprise, I am getting quite fond of the shade as it isn’t a horrible shade of red. I find it rather wearable.
Yes, this is one shade of red that I can live with and not feel like it’s too much for me. If it wasn’t quite so hydrating, I would have disliked this. Another reason to like Xtreme Lip Cream is the colour is long-lasting, serious staying power here. I ate and drank and there was still some colour left. Even if I didn’t re-apply, it wouldn’t look as if I had no colour on my lips. It took cleansing oil to remove the swatch on the back of my hand. It stays and stays all day if I don’t eat, no fading with this one.
