MACEOS Ignites The Future Of Malaysian Business Events

The Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) is proud to announce the much-anticipated return of two prestigious events—the 3rd Malaysian Business Events Awards (MBEA) and 2nd EventXpo 2025—set to take place concurrently from 7-9 August 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Recognised as the pinnacle of Malaysia’s business events calendar, the double-bill celebration will honour excellence while showcasing the innovation and new trends that continue to drive the industry forward. “MBEA and EventXpo represent a significant opportunity for industry stakeholders offering incredible value and creating a focal point for celebration, learning, and business growth for the entire ecosystem,” said Datuk Dr M Gandhi, President of MACEOS.

He added: “For anyone in the business events ecosystem, this is the go-to event of the year that you wouldn’t want to be missed. This is more than an event; it’s a must-attend opportunity to establish exclusive networking with key industry players and access exciting growth prospects. The combined MBEA and EventXpo will offer opportunities found nowhere else.”

EventXpo 2025: Redefining the Business Events Marketplace
Following the success of its inaugural edition, EventXpo is set to return as the ultimate marketplace and strategic platform to connect with business events industry players across the region. With the electrifying theme “Smart Solutions, Smart Events,” the 3-day EventXpo 2025 will be a vibrant meeting point for networking, knowledge-sharing, and business growth. Attendees can expect a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge industry trends and technologies and exclusive insights from influential keynote sessions. Live interactive experiences and curated networking opportunities further solidify EventXpo as a must-attend platform for industry players seeking growth and innovation.

The expo is set to bring together event organisers, suppliers, venue operators, and corporate buyers under one roof—fostering collaboration and new business opportunities. “Event sourcing for corporate buyers has traditionally relied on word of mouth and peer recommendations. EventXpo aims to transform that by offering a comprehensive platform where corporate buyers can connect with reliable suppliers and fulfil all their business needs under one roof,” said Datuk Dr M Gandhi.

“Malaysia has long demonstrated its potential on the global stage through international roadshows, drawing foreign organisers to our shores. But the time has come to create a platform to bring this momentum home,” Datuk Dr M Gandhi added.

EventXpo 2025 is a platform designed to empower Malaysian industry players. It opens doors for our industry players’ businesses to showcase on a regional scale without leaving the country, elevating Malaysia as a hub for excellence in the business events industry.

“Our objective is clear—to propel Malaysia’s industry players into the Asia region spotlight, creating a stage where the world sees their businesses and services right here in Malaysia,” Datuk Dr M Gandhi emphasised.

Alongside EventXpo 2025, the industry is giving back to the community through the Kind Malaysia initiative. This initiative provides businesses and industry players with a platform to engage with non-profit organisations, fostering meaningful collaborations that leave a lasting impact. By integrating social responsibility into business events, the initiative aims to build a legacy of inclusivity, empowerment, and long-term community engagement.
