Although I was in Penang recently for almost a week, I didn’t get to try everything I wanted to try. I could have done with a good bowl of Penang laksa but sometimes lack of parking makes us choose a different place to eat. One weekday morning, my friend and I were at Lhong Tou Dim Sum which is located at the very busy Pulau Tikus Market. Apparently, there is a long queue outside on weekends.
They serve a huge variety of delicious dim sum. We ordered just a few since there were only two of us. Our dim sum cost between RM11.90 and RM12.90 which isn’t cheap but the size of the dim sum made it worth the price.
This dim sum restaurant is no-frills inside but service is fast and the quality of the dim sum is superb. No wonder it is so popular and crowded even on a weekday. This restaurant is definitely on my bucket list of restaurants to visit the next time I am in Penang as there are so many other dim sum on their list that I would love to try.
