The Korean makeup trend for 2013 places emphasis on makeup that is light, natural and yet offers perfect coverage. Inspired by this, Laneige developed the Forever Definite Compact Foundation that offers soft, creamy textured complexion with perfect coverage yet feels light and moisturising.
The Forever Definite Compact Foundation is formulated using the latest ‘Wet’ Method Technology that gives this highly pigmented foundation the melting effect the moment it touches the skin. The preparation process of this compact powder is said to be similar to baking a chiffon cake. The finely crushed powder is kneaded and later blended together with glacial milk. It is then left to slowly solidify in low temperature to produce a microfiber-like texture.
As compared to regular compact powder, the Definite Fitting Powder contained in the compact foundation results in a neat and even finish despite it being in contact with sebum. The powder does not clump due to its unique particle shape, thus preventing a ruffled complexion and it shares the same luminosity as our skin giving the skin a natural glow.
The Forever Definite Compact Foundation also retains the skin’s moisture while absorbing sebum. It also contains the Bloom Lasting Powder that has the capability to maintain a balanced oil-moisture level on the skin therefore eliminating dryness and caking. Despite reapplications, makeup remains clean and shine-free throughout the day for a fresh and presentable look.
Putting on this compact foundation also lifts one’s mood with its floral rose fragrance. The top notes are citrus and greens, the middle notes are rose, lily, cyclamen and ozone, and lastly the base notes are musky and woody.

To clarify, that statement was from Laneige’s PR. I checked with them because the reader asked me a question. The entire post is a press release as I have stated at the bottom of the post.
