During the recent Guerlain Abeille Royale Workshop, we had the opportunity to try BB Creams – Lingerie De Peau BB Beauty Booster and Super Aqua-Serum BB+ Hydra Beauty Balm. Both feel very lightweight but Super Aqua-Serum BB+ Hydra Beauty Balm is the more fluid of the two as it feels more like skincare than a BB Cream.
Lingerie de Peau Beauty Booster cream gives a illusion of a perfectly nude complexion. It promises a perfect complexion thanks to the combination of five actions: hydration, protection, radiance, correction and an even skin tone. It contains the Bio-Fusion micro-mesh, an unprecedented combination of smoothing and shaping stretch fibres and natural linen and silk fibres in complete affinity with the skin.
I tried the Super Aqua-Serum BB+ Hydra Beauty Balm which is ideal for dry skins as it contains the Super Aqua-Serum, a bestseller for 2.5 decades. This BB Cream feels so good on skin as it has a smoothening and hydrating effect. It also gives a subtle glow to skin. Fabulous BB Cream with an equally stunning price to match, I am sure.
Both BB Creams give light to medium coverage but Lingerie De Peau BB Beauty Booster has SPF30+++ while Super Aqua-Serum BB+ Hydra Beauty Balm has SPF25PA++. Super Aqua-Serum BB+ Hydra Beauty Balm would be suitable for more mature skins like mine.
