Out of all the rooms at Selfie Museum KL, my favourite room isn’t that Instagram-worthy. There are no giant cakes or ice cream but it’s a room where one can sample delectable treats made with Malaysia’s most well known chilli sauce, Lingham’s. Lingham’s has been around to tickle the taste buds of generations of Malaysians, in fact since 1908 which is more than a century ago. So for some of us, our great grandparents were the first to sample Lingham’s Chilli Sauce. I love this chilli sauce because it reminds me of my childhood. That and the other famous sauce but not from Malaysia, Worcestershire Sauce which was eaten with bacon.
In the Lingham’s room, one can sample popcorn and chocolates made with Lingham’s Chilli Sauce. How awesome is that! The tiny bottles of Lingham’s Chilli Sauce next to the popcorn are so cute! The dark chocolate indeed tasted spicy. Never knew chocolates made with Lingham’s Chilli Sauce could taste so good.
